Burnt out....a fucking rant!I faltered @ 10:01 a.m. on 03-30-03
I noticed that this war has brought out the crazies on both sides. I think people have a right to protest this war, peacefully. However no one is going to want to listen, or stop and think about what you are trying to get across, if you are being a fucking asshole about it.
Then there are those that think you have to agree with every damn thing the president says or does to be patriotic. They say " if you don't like it get out". Well God fucking forbid I actually care enough about this country to want it to improve. No I will not be like the rest of you sheep, and agree with everything that this government, or president decides. I do love this country, but it is far from perfect.
Sometimes I seriously wonder whether some of these people know what they are talking about, or if they are going along because it seems like the popular thing to do. It's easy to say "war is bad" or "support our president no matter what". Try putting some meaning to those words. Say why you feel the way you do, and back it up.
Most of this rant is because of some really ignorant conversations that I've witnessed lately. I'm very much done talking about war with friends, family, or anyone. I'm burnt out on that subject.
