Those Bastards!I faltered @ 6:33 p.m. on 05-25-02
Today has been a not so great day. This morning Austin called being all nice. It had been a while since I heard from him, so I kind of missed him. He kept saying he would be a better dad and boyfriend, and that he would stop all his lies. He said that he grew up, and was ready to act like an adult. Stupid me I believed him. He also said that someone called HRS on them, and wanted to know if they had been here too. I figured he was either just saying that, or his lunatic neighbor had called on them like she always threatens to.
Well come 2:00pm today a case worker from HRS comes by. She say's that the people making the complaint said that L.K. has a burn on his arm because we let him cook on the stove alone. That my mom and her boyfriend are always stoned. They also had the fucking nerve to say that they think L.K. has mental and emotional problems, and may have ADD. First of all my kids are allowed NO where near the stove. Second no one here is stoned. Third L.K. is a 2 year old boy, most 2 year olds have alot of energy and like running around and playing. My niece has ADD, so I DO know the difference. What do they expect him to sit in a fucking corner and keep his mouth shut the whole time he's at their house? What the fuck is wrong with these people? That's okay because the case worker knew it was bullshit and is filing it as a false report with the sheriffs department.
You see they did the same damn thing last year, around the same time. Same caseworker too. So basically everyone knows that Austin and his family are full of shit. It just pisses me off that they are willing to hurt two innocent kids just to fuck with me. Bastards!
My mom thinks that they did it to make me look bad. That they might try to take me to court for custody, so that Austin won't go to jail for not paying support. If that's the case then they will look bad because they filed a false report which they may get in trouble for.
I know they probably won't get my kids, but I'm still scared. How could Austin do this to his own kids? He knows they love me, and that I take good care of them. He also knows how abusive his own household is. Also what makes him think that if HRS took kids away from me that they would automatically go to him? It doesn't alwasys work that way. When DSS took Joey and Sarra away from Christine, they went straight to fostercare, not to their dad. I don't think Austin or his family care what happens to these kids.
The only good thing to come out of today was that the caseworker gave me a referral for daycare. This means that soon I might be going to college or working, maybe both.
I still can't get over the fact that they would do this again. Whatever,I'm all worked up right now. I gotta go. Later.
