ElmoI faltered @ 12:01 p.m. on 05-06-02
There is this one friend that kind of gets annoying at times. I call her Elmo. She is always trying to get me to babysit, which I wouldn't mind doing if I wasn't living with my mom. The thing is my mom works from 8pm to 7am, so she sleeps during the day. As it is my kids are loud enough when they play, the last thing we need is two extra.
Last Monday she wanted me to spend the night, well I had other plans (monday night raw is war). So I so I told her I didn't have a ride to her house(partly true). Well an hour later she calls saying she found me a ride. So I tell her that Avi isn't feeling well(also partly true) and threw up,(lie) and I would rather stay home just in case. Well she doesn't care, I should come over anyway because she is supposedly good with sick kids(bullshit!). Come to find out that her kids are sick, one even has bronchitis(sp?).
Why would you want your sick children around other sick children? How is that good parenting. I don't care if you have infants tylonal, I do not want my possibly sick child getting any sicker with whatever your child has! And is disgusts me that you are not worried about the same.
Okay it's not that I don't like her, but she gets so frustrating to talk to sometimes. It takes forever to get off the phonr with her, and she tends to be really pushy.
I guess I could have told her the truth from the start, but how can you tell someone you would rather watch wrestling then spend the night at their house?
Then there's my mom's boyfriend. I hate it when he has days off because he lays on the couch watching HBO all day. Well this especially pisses me off on week days because I want desperately to watch my soaps. He better not think he is sitting there all fucking day. I will be watching my soaps today.
Well Avi woke from her nap, so gotta go. Later.
